Holy Basil is considered The Goddess of Herbs. It is sacred in India. It is also known as Tulsi and this plant has been used for centuries for its many medicinal gifts. The scent of Tulsi is intoxicating and can help to soothe our mind, inspire our spirit, and bring in relaxation at any time of day or night.
Note that this is not an essential oil, but a whole plant herbal infused oil, so the scent will not be as strong as an essential oil, but it is still very present. Even more important, some of its healing properties have been extracted into the oil to help benefit our bodies.
I like using Holy Basil Infused Oils as a body massage oil. Self massage after a shower or bath can be a deeply healing way to care for ourselves. Taking time to massage out any sore spots, checking over our skin for any areas that may need attention, or simply for relaxation before bedtime. And do not forget massaging your feet with this oil! so soothing and relaxing! It is also very nurishing for your hair and nails.
As a body and facial infused Oil, made with lovingly grown and gathered Holy Basil, helps clear the mind, renew the spirit, impart softness, and nourish the skin with its potent antioxidant components. It is an excellent skin remedy for minor irritations, aches, tension, acne, and inflammation. Extraction Method: We use a traditional process involving time (vs heat or chemical solvents), harnessing each plant’s healing extraction by infusing the flowers in oil for several weeks.
We make the oil in small batches from fresh plants I grow myself in my garden, so the final product content may be slightly different each time, but still same qualities and benefits!! I dont use any herbicides, and I use organic compost,
